Five exceptional high school students were recently honored with Town of Islip Student Achievement Awards in four different categories. The students were nominated for the annual award by teachers.

Victoria Arthus was nominated by Linda Festa in the language arts category, Amanda Burke was nominated by Elizabeth Nolan for language arts, John DelGenio was nominated by Karen Maisano for secondary language, Sean Henriks was nominated by Ann Gordon for leadership and Morgiana McDevitt was nominated by Rich Harris for performing arts.
